On 25 May, the workshop "Reproducibility in bioinformatics: an introduction to container technologies (docker)" took place. The training was attended by participants from a wide range of disciplines (biology, virology, economics, etc.). The training was enriched by the fact that the participants had different levels of background knowledge, but everyone gained new, interesting and useful information. During the short workshop, the participants were introduced to the theoretical basics of Docker (creating, running, downloading containers from different registries, etc.). In addition to this, practical training was also provided to learn the theoretical part. Armed with this knowledge, they are in a position to provide a high level of reproducibility as one of the major scientific challenges of our time.
